DESCRIPTION:
Gnomes first appeared in European folklore as benevolent creatures who rewarded the good behavior of farmers merchants and housewives with assistance in fields shops and gardens at night. These tales inspired Phillip Griebel to create tiny statuaries in the middle of the nineteenth century to decorate gardens. These little guys have changed over the years to reflect current interests and now you can be rewarded with this NY Mets gnome! He is decked out in blue and orange with the Mets logo on his hat and the Mets' name on his vest. Who knows he may even weed the garden overnight!
